DR. DEE ANNE NADEAU

CHIROPRACTOR

Dr. Dee was born and raised in Nelson, BC. After graduating high school, she went on to complete her degree in Human Kinetics at the University of British Columbia.  Having always had a passion for studying anatomy and physiology, Dr. Dee knew she wanted to pursue a career in the health care field and this first degree was merely a stepping stone to something she always dreamed of.

With careful deliberation and research, and recalling her experience with a skilled sports chiropractor utilizing Active Release Techniques® in conjunction with spinal adjustments, Dr. Dee decided on the field of Chiropractic. This combination of treatment modalities made a breakthrough in the healing of a chronic injury that she had no prior luck treating with any other practitioner, ultimately inspiring her to pursue the same career path and methodology.

In 2003, Dr. Dee moved to Toronto to attend the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. She dedicated herself to taking extra courses along the way including Active Release Techniques®, Graston Technique®, and pre- and post-natal care to suit many different patient populations. Soon after graduating in 2007, an opportunity opened up in Nelson and she made the journey back home to practice.

Dr. Dee has a strong passion for treating pregnant women throughout pregnancy and after delivery. She has taken courses from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, including the Webster Technique®, and especially loves the honour of caring for newborns and children of all ages. With her own love and passion for sports, water, and the outdoors, Dr. Dee could not be happier to be in Nelson doing what she loves to do. She married her classmate Dr. Brodie Nadeau in 2014 and has two children of her own.
